Long Exposure
Long Exposure
Long Exposure is a 2D 5 min film that grapples with how relationships develop and change, much like the tides on a shoreline. Duffy, a photographer, returns to the beach where she grew up. The nighttime waves lap against the shore calmly as she takes in the sea breeze. Throughout her exploration of her maritime surroundings, she slowly becomes reacquainted with a ghost of her past- a sweet summer romance named Maris. As Duffy relives both the blossoming and eventual decay of their relationship, she slowly loses track of her past and present summers on the beach. Long Exposure addresses the longing for lost relationships, of never being able to say quite enough with the sound of a camera click.
